Common questions

• Does it cost anything? No — no ads, no in-app purchases, no real money ever. There's nothing to buy or restore.
• Do I need an account? No. There's nothing to sign into.
• What does it run on? iPhone and iPad running iOS 15 or later — or any modern browser, at hole.chrisheninger.com/play.
• How do I get coins and new holes? Every level you clear pays 10 coins. Open the Hole Shop (the little storefront on the main menu) and tap a hole to see it up close and buy it for 25. Coins only come from playing — no real money, ever.
• Can I turn the sound or vibration on or off? Yes: pause a level and use the Sound and Vibrate buttons. Sound starts off; vibration starts on.
• Where are my best times? On the win screen, and on each level's card in the level picker.
• Reporting a bug? Tell us your device, what you were doing, and what went wrong — screenshots help a lot.
